Growing Minds in Nature

Our setting isn’t just scenic—it’s an extension of the classroom. From outdoor lessons to reflective walks and hands-on exploration, nature becomes a partner in learning. Students discover that curiosity grows differently when it’s rooted in fresh air, open space, and real experiences. It’s school, but with the freedom and wonder of the outdoors built in.

Our Learning Model

Symbiosis prioritizes empathy, flexibility, and individualized structure. Instead of forcing students to fit a standardized system, we design learning around how each student understands, processes, and grows.

Academic expectations remain rigorous, but they’re delivered through a personalized, adaptive approach that honors the whole learner. Students and educators work in partnership—reflective, responsive, and mutually supportive—creating an environment where confidence, curiosity, and real progress can thrive.

  • My 15 year old son had struggled with public school...

We felt like we were out of options…until he met Kristine from Symbiosis. He is now part of a dual enrollment program at Mass Bay, working on his Associate Degree as well as Symbiosis, where he will be working on his HS transcript. Symbiosis has given my son hope and self-confidence after years of feeling like a failure. - Pam Driscoll

  • Our daughter enrolled and this year has been nothing short of transformative in terms of her academic self-esteem.

She has renewed confidence in her own abilities and has learned to love learning again. Our family will be forever grateful to the Symbiosis community for their acceptance, love, and support! - Vanessa H.

  • When my daughter entered middle school, so many things changed.

All of a sudden, she had a lot of different teachers, a lot more homework, plus dealing with the drama of being a teenager. She is a bright and intelligent young girl, so I was surprised and disappointed to see her struggling with so many aspects of her school work!

She now has a solid handle on her expectations for school. Thank you Symbiosis Learning Center! - Jeanne J.

  • Symbiosis helps students assimilate in the college environment.

They assist students to be able to adapt and succeed at the college level and to be more knowledgeable and self-aware as productive individuals in society. -Laurie F.

    How It Works

Instead of following a rigid, one-size-fits-all model, we combine state-required academics with hands-on projects, flexible structure, and consistent emotional support. Teachers and students collaborate closely—reflecting together, setting goals, and adjusting learning plans as needs evolve. This approach allows students to engage deeply, build confidence, and make real progress at a pace that honors how they learn best.
